Dear Friends,

Since the update form Kitkat to lolipop , I am having memory issues with my internal storage. The alret message foe low device memory is kept coming and I have already moved many apps to SD card, still running out of space, due to this I am nither download the new apps nor update the existing apps.

Total apps storage sometimes it will show around 1.5 GB and sometimes it is around 4 GB. Though there is nothing else in phone memory apart from my apps , it does show rest of the memory is being used by music, Photos etc.. which is really annoying me :(

PLEASE BE KIND ENOUGH TO HELP ME!!!!!!!
Many Thanks in Advance.

So how much space do you actually have? Remember that media, apps and app data share the same storage, so it is perfectly possible to have just a few apps and still run short of space if you have a lot of media or some apps are storing a lot of data. Also remember that "/sdcard" is actually the phone's internal storage - I don't recall what the actual SD card will be called on this device, but if your media are on /sdcard then that are indeed in the phone memory.

Please give as much information as you can, distinguishing between on-device storage and the external SD card (which isn't important for this). If you were able to download the small app "Storage Truth" from the sticky post at the top of this forum and post its results that would be great, but it's what space you have free in /data (onboard app storage) that counts.
