Via settings. You need to go into manage applications & move each individually to the sd. Not every app supports move to sd. There are apps that will alert you to each app that can be moved. Search the play store for move to sd.
And never move an app if it has a widget which you use - the widget will break if you do this.
I have installed games like nfs most wanted , real racing 3 and MC4. I have also saved the files required to play the games in sd card.. but the games dont detect the files from the sd card .. they just show the message that there no enough space to download the game. please help me out..

The games are probably hard-coded to look for their files in a particular location. If so, and if that's in /data, then the only option would be to root and either use a ROM with a data2sd mod (not something I generally recommend) or partition the card and set up a symbolic link to the desired directory by hand.
