HTC Desire battery replacement

[HTCDESIRE?]

Hello. I am new to this website and this is my first thread.
I was just wondering if you could install another battery into the desire instead of the weak standard one, so that I can increase my desire's battery life.
Any help will be appreciated!!!
MANY THANKS!!!!!!!!
