HTC Desire Bluetooth keeps going to private call

Hi everyone. I have an HTC Desire that I have paired with my Chevy Equinox. Everytime I place or receive a call via my bluetooth, it goes to PRIVATE CALL, which totally defeats the purpose of having a Bluetooth. Does anybody know how to fix this???? :confused:
