Help HTC Desire HD Freezing On Homescreen HELP !!!

Hi,

I got this HTC Desire HD of a friend and have been using for the last few days and when I was using it this morning it froze on the homepage so I thought to restart it so I did and when it came to the homepage it froze again so not quite sure, Should I put it in recovery and factory reset or boot it/flash it again with the same android ?

If you don't mind losing everything (apps/settings etc), then yeah go for a factory reset. Had you installed anything just before it started happening though? Could be a rogue app causing problems?

I will try a reset via the recovery menu and see how it goes, I didnt install any apps thats the thing but will defo do a reset
