Hi guys, i've been using the windows mobile smart phones for the past 5 years now and as much as I have found great useability I wasn't quite impressed. I've switched over to the new HTC desire HD to see what the Android craze is all about. I hope i've made the right choice.

i think you have, i have a friend who is mad about phones, and he had the HTC HD2, and he loved the phone bar the windows OS, now he too has the DHD, which is more or less a HD2 with android on.

I like the DHD, good build quality and top hardware/software, the only thing i dont like is, for me, the screen appears to be very washed out. But in saying that i do own a Galaxy S, and the Super Amoled screens makes colours and blacks VERY vibrant and bright.

p.s: and welcome!!
