Help HTC Desire loses battery when charging?!

Hello everyone!

I plugged in my Desire HD the last evening for its charging as usual. When I did that it still had 56% - it normally survives a night with 56% easily! Anyway, when I unplugged it this morning it was exactly 0% charged and there was no way of getting it charged again. This happened the three nights before as well - only that I was able to charge it again.

Any ideas of what's wrong?

Are you sure it was charging when you plugged it in? Sometimes mine doesn't charge the first time I plug it in...

Is there an orange flashing light on the LED every time you plug in charger ? If that's the case I just reinserted my battery and let it charge for a while, that usually fixed it for me.
