Help HTC Desire replace ringtone in com.htc.app HtcRingtonePickerAct

I have a ringtone that "com.htc.app HtcRingtonePickerActt" lists. I now wish to replace that ringtone but cannot see how to get my new ringtone on the "com.htc.app HtcRingtonePickerAct" list and delete the old one.

Any advice please?
 
Adding ringtones, I thought you could just put /audio/ringtones/mytone.mp3 on your sd card and add to there. It adds in normal android but been a while since I have used HTC sense
