How to backup phone data on PC

A little klunky, but it works…

1. <LI sizset="57" sizcache022680913387184337="0">Use Helium to back up all app data to external sd
2. Power off phone and remove sd card
3. Insert sd card into computer reader and drag/drop the contents onto the pc, thus creating a backup.

Regarding step 3, pay special attention to the /.android_secure folder in the root of the sd card. It will appear empty when viewed mouted in your phone (even with root access)> However, when viewed on the pc, you will likely find may MB of .asec files there. These are the data segments of all apps you moved to sd from the phone's Manage apps menu.
