HTC Desire S - Crashing

I have had my phone for nearly 3 weeks and it keeps crashing and wanting to send error reports. I have already phoned technical support and they talked me through resetting the phone but it is still doing it.

I am also having problems with charging the phone, not sure if its the phone itself that doesn't like charging or whether the charger doesn't fit properly.

Has anyone else experienced these problems so early on?

There have been reports of phones with random reboots and rapidly draining batteries, but it's very specific to phone model. You should check in HTC Desire S - Android Forums to see if your model exhibits these problems, but frankly I don't recall seeing any other reports like this. I would definitely exchange this handset for a new one, if possible.
