HTC Desire S problem

Hi everyone!

I just registered for the first time here at android forums.
Actually the main reason for it is that I have a really annoying problem with my cell.
It's a HTC Desire S, running Android 2.3.5. Till a couple days ago everything was ok, but then it started to shut the internet (the data connection with my service provider, not the Wi-Fi) off every time I lock the screen and unlock it again. It's getting really annoying, 'cause I have to go every time to settings, shut the data connection off and then turn it on again, so that there is an internet connection again.
Can someone give me a hint as to what to do, in order to avoid such a thing?

It sounds like a sleep mode or a power saving mode that your phone is slipping into. To be certain you should check in with the users of your device who will no much more about your specific phone and the problem you are having. Here is a link to that area. HTC Desire S - Android Forums
Good luck in solving your problem and welcome to Android Forums. I hope you will use these forums for your future Android support.

Hi,

Welcome onboard. Make sure that Mobile network is enabled (checked). Also, it might be cause by an application you've installed. Checkout your recently installed apps - make sure its not conflicting / interfering with your network connection.

Best of luck. Thanks for joining. ;)
