HTC Desire stuck on boot screen

Hello,

I have an HTC Desire Android 2.2 Phone (no-rooted) and i had installed the Sun Rise Live Wallpaper (from Google Play).

One of these days i updated it to the last version.

When i select it from the live wallpapers today, my phone stuck (the wallpaper became black at android desktop and the phone stuck).

I removed the battery, but it is always sticking on boot (specifically on Boot Screen - HTC quietly brilliant). Sometimes it comes up to the android desktop, but it sticks again (i can see a message like "Insufficient Storage Available").

If the battery is in the phone, then my phone makes an endless boot loop (open-close by itself).

I have tried to boot it without the sim card and the micro-sd card, but the result is the same.

What is your advice?

P.S I didn't try to factory reset my phone, because i have some saved contacts.

Thank you very much.

Are your contacts synced with Google? If so then you can do the factory reset because they are already backed-up, and will be reloaded when you log in to your google account again.

You can check that by logging on to Gmail from a web browser. You then click on the red word GMail on the left of the page and select "contacts" - that will tell you whether they are backed up.

If they are then you can do a reset and they are safe. If they are not then please tell us. Though on an unrooted phone it will be difficult to fix any other way, but let us know and we'll see whether we can think of anything.
