Help htc desire touch panel fail & got stuck in boot screen

I have htc desire a8181 for about 3 years & was working perfectly without any small problems. recently back button stopped working. so I myself wanted to give a try. I opened the mobile on my own & almost I fixed the back button problem. then i switched on. i can feel the missing of touch response. i had to click 2 or 3 times for selecting a folder. but back button worked well.

i got confused & opened again & checked whether i missed anything. everything fit well. then i switched on. only HTC logo appeared& then switched off. then i went to bootmode by home+power+volume down keys. i saw 'touch panel fail' & i cant go to recovery mode. now i don't know what to do.

i know my mobile is too old. but i love it. please someone help me to get back my awesome mobile. thanks in advance.
 
Make sure that the panel is completely connected. It sounds like a bad connection somewhere. (It's probably not something that's going to be obvious, it's something that experience will find, so find someone with experience with tiny electronic devices.)

Thanks for your reply. I too think its hardware related. But in my location, mobile service man is telling that it is software related. Still they are trying to put various software versions. but nothing seems to be working.
