HTC Desire X camera help!

I bought a HTC Desire X recently and found that 720p recording and playback. Can you tell me if I can shoot 720p videos on the Desire X by installing Camera Zoom FX apps?
If not, are there any camera apps that enable 720p recording and playback?
And please tell me if it is prudent to buy the Samsung Galaxy S Advance (it comes with Gingerbread)? Coz If i'm buying a phone i'm keeping it for at least three years.

Welcome to AF divechameet.

The lack of 720p on the Desire X looks like a hardware limitation and no 3rd party app will overcome that, sorry. I don't think Camera Zoom FX does videos anyway.
