HTC Desire's to get FroYo as soon as tomorrow?!?

At the time I know that Desire will get Froyo, they tell me tomorrow, but come to now , just confirm again that it will have Froyo by the end of this week. So keep waiting.

how do you find out if your phone is network branded?

From what i have read on other threads, if you go into settings, about phone, software info and have a look at the build number. If you see 1.21.405 then it is unbranded.
ALso when you boot your phone and you dont see your operator logo but instead see the green htc logo with quietly brilliant under it, means phones unbranded too
