The specs for the G1 are now posted on the T-mobile website. I'm still not seeing anything about GPS. Even though the specs on the HTC website say that it has GPS, is it possible that it's not available in the G1, or that T-mobile is shipping some version with GPS disabled???

Not sure why T-mobile would neglect to mention such an important feature, unless the device really doesn't have it.

It looked like a lot of the demo videos had the gps in them. I bet that Tmobiles site is not complete.

To me it seems like a PC that you would buy. It comes with Windows but its up to you to download all the apps that YOU want to run on it. Hooray for Android.

Does anybody know if this phone will support tethering for laptop internet access? I can't wait for the day where your phone will broadcast its own mini wifi network!

I believe not, according to these guys. And, as we know, everything on the interwebs is always correct.
