Hi Dhaliwalb, I've moved your post here since your phone is an HTC Dream and you posted in the HTC Desire Forum. I was unable to find an HTC Dream forum in AF so I've moved your post to the HTC T-Mobile G1 which is a rebranded HTC Dream with T-Mobile.
