HTC Droid DNA or Motorola Razr MAXX HD?

Okay... my situation. I run a video production company in the Atlanta area. Until recently I lived about 15-20 miles north of ATL so I had great service from my MetroPCS phones (LG Esteem rooted and HTC Wildfire S) but since moving to Gainesville GA, about 50 miles north of AtL my service has suffered. No signal at home, constant searching for data runs the batteries down.. etc. I NEED a good connection as I work mostly from home. I have wifi here at home for data, just need good phone service so I don't lose customers calls. When i go out on shoots, I may be away from a power supply for up to 10 hours but I will be in ATL so I'll have a solid 4G LTE connection. Asking around, it looks like Verizon would be the best choice for me so I'm debating between the DNA and the Razr HD.. I love the long battery life of the Razr but the camera isn't great and rooting (I will probably root) is iffy at best with JB. The DNA is a powerhouse but I'm not happy with non-removable smaller battery and no SD expansion. I like watching movies on my phone (not netflix or any online service, I put my TV shows and movies on the device so i don't use data) so being limited to 16GB with a ton of verizon bloatware is a drawback.
If you could buy just one, which would you get? The 2nd line is for a female who doesn't really care as long as it's easy to use and she can get on FB and take good pix so I'm thinking a windows phone for her.

DNA is a no-brainer...it's the best all around device on Verizon right now...and you can get it much cheaper than the MAXX. With that being said, it pisses me off that it only has 16gb and no expandable memory slot.

Yeah.. the memory expansion and smaller non-removable battery are my biggest concerns. Actually, I just got back from the Verizon store and the device I never thought I'd like is most appealing to me now. the Note 2. I originally thought it was too big, but it's not bad for my size (6' tall) and it has both a removable long lasting battery and expansion slot. It's is a cheaper build, but slap a nice rugged case on it and it's much better.

You're definitely not the first person to be surprised by the Note 2! I haven't heard of anyone being disappointed by it.

Yeah if I had to choose between two on VZW it would be the DNA and the Note 2. The DNA is a very efficient phone, but can't compete with the 50% larger batt in the Note 2. But the screen on the DNA is gorgeous, and it gets the best data signal of any phone on VZW imo. I bought a portable charger and OTG cable to combat the only two issues this phone has.

How hard is rooting the DNA with JB to dump the verizon bloatware? The Note 2 is extremely easy to root and dump the bloat which is also nice. I loved the ridiculously awesome screen on the DNA.. the hardware was just much better than that of the Note 2. You're trying to get me to be undecided again! hahah...

I'd only root the DNA to dump VZW bloatware to free up more of that 16GB. Oh and because I like installing apps that require root. =)
