Help HTC Evo 4G LTE work in canada? (Roam/CDMA only & high cost.)

my desire broke 2weeks ago and im looking for a new phone and iv been looking at the evo 4g lte a lot but im not sure if it will work up here in Canada. i live just outside of Toronto (Oakville). do any of you know if it will work?
 
I just came back from Toronto. Had my data plan on for a total of 15 minutes to check e-mail and was charged $100. You can use Wifi for free up there. Just make sure your data plan is off.

it also depends on your network, it has to be the SAME band of CDMA as sprint.

without doing much research for you i feel pretty comfortable saying no it can't, I'm sorry, probably not what you wanted to hear but i don't want to waste your time. hopefully a oneX variant will hit your carrier of choice soon!

thank you. im about to buy out my contract so for carrier i could go with anyone. thanks for the info though. i just wish the one X had a 32gb version in canada.

wow that sucks. but are you with a US carrier or a Canadian?
