Help Htc Evo camera help!

im trying to take a picture of this small spider thats on my mirror but it can never focus in on it, it always focuses on the stuff in the mirror like my bed and stuff but not on the spider. when i'm taking a picture it will focus on it for a little but then it goes back to normal. I'm using the gingerbread-evo-deck rom is there a better camera app that will let me focus on small things like this spider?

Well first, taking a picture of a mirror confuses the camera's autofocus. You will have to use manual focus, and I'm not sure if that rom has that built in or not. Second, you are probably way too close for it to focus, the camera cant focus on anything closer than about 4 inches.
