HTC EVO replacement AGAIN

So just a couple days ago my 3G went out on my phone and I wasn't able to get mobile network. Went to Sprint ordered a replacement Evo, got it a couple days ago. Now my LCD is broken and it seems like it busted and leaked down. I'm now going to have to go back to Sprint and order a new one. Do you think I should demand a new one?

They can replace the screen at the store rather easily and quickly. No need for a new phone if it's working fine aside from the screen.

i dont think "demandng" anything will get you very far.

Do you have the Sprint TEP or Insurance Plan? If you do you can go into a Sprint Repair Center and have them replace the LCD for free. You won't have to wait for a phone and they won't charge you the insurance deductible:

In Store Repair Solutions

Just do a search on Sprints site for a repair center close to you.

I'm not sure how the LCD broke, I just woke up the next morning after receiving the phone and the LCD were busted.

Yes, I have insurance and I brought it in and they fixed it within an hour. Not a big deal but still upset that I've had so many problems with this phone.

They do screen repairs pretty quickly and easily. Saw a guy do one in minutes recently so don't expect a new phone for that issue. If BestBuy can repair them, Sprint should be able to with no problem. The issue with repairs is always whether they have spare screen parts on hand.

If you ask politely and catch them at the right time, they just might give you a replacement. It's not going to happen anywhere where there's high demand for the Evo, but I just got one replaced in Langhorne, PA Corporate store because they couldn't fix my (broken USB port) and didn't want me to have to wait for a delivery. They didn't have refurbs on hand at the time. I'd suggest you call and find out if they have refurbs in the repair center. If the answer is no, get over there asap and ask if they can give you a new one if this one can't be repaired.
