Help HTC EVO Shift Screen Unresponsive

My screen flickers and force close pops up alot , when texting the cursor moves everywhere and its very hard to text , and random phone calls are made.It is usually fixed by locking and unlocking my phone. I did it just now and it wouldnt let me slide the bar to unlock it the screen won't work at all but the keyboard does. ANY HELP ?
 
My wife's Evo Shift started flickering and becoming unresponsive so I went into Android Assistant and then into "clean cache"and cleaned the cache for Rosie Utility and that fixed the issue. If you can get into it at all, you might want to try that.
