Htc evo & wijfi

I Have an HTC EVO and wifey want me to upgrade to an Iphone--- my question is -- if i switch over to Iphone, and the phone is disabled on my Evo, can i still use the apps and surf the internet using my home wifi signal....???

Yes, Wifi is completely independent of SIM card.
