HTC Flyer and Android 2.3.4

Hi All

I am looking into buying a HTC Flyer for a company that I am starting this summer, because I need a 7" android device. But I also need it to have the USB Host functionalities added in Android 2.3.4.

Does anyone know if there are plans to upgrade the Flyer to 2.3.4?
 
If it then at least would get 3.1 so it would work with the ADK it would be awesome.

I btw got some un-official, but from HTC themselves, intell that Honeycomb is coming to it. Exactly which version, they could/would not tell...
(Official answer was that they did not share that kind of information outside of their press portal..)

Anyone know of a custom ROM for it that runs 3.1 or larger? Where the USB host works?
 
Flyer just updated itself to 2.3.4 a couple of weeks ago in the begining of August. That does nor rule out a later honeycomb update
