Help htc hard bricked

Hi everyone, i was given an htc one s not working, i mean dead, hard bricked, the only thing that works is the blinking orange light when connected to charger, it's not detected by computer, and when i try to enter recovery mode (power button +volume down) nothing happens except a greenish light that flashes for a split second than disappears.
i don't know the history of this phone and what was done to it, i read here and there a few threads related to this topic without any success,
any help to bring this phone from the dead will be very much appreciated.

There's not really much you can do if the device isn't being picked up by a computer unfortunately.

Doesn't it even appear in Device Manager when connected?

I noticed also that the screen has a faint glow in the dark when connected to charger, it's not completely dead, you can't see it open light. If anyone can explain what what's the cause of this phenomenon.
