HTC Hero CM7 Blackscreen..!!

Hey everyone I really need your help..!! I currently own an HTC Hero running Cyanogen Mod 7 which I really love..!! Last night as I was on Voxer with my girl the battery died..! It was 4 am so I fell asleep and left the phone charging..as I woke up this morning the phone did not start..! I turn it on and it gives you the vibration feedback but the screen does not turn on..! Need help quick..I don't have warranty and I just payed my bill.!!

Try booting into recovery. Hold the volume down button and then press power until you get to the bootloader screen and then choose recovery.

Try wiping your cache and Dalvik cache first and see if that fixes things. If not, do a Nandroid and wipe everything and try flashing your ROM and GApps again. It sounds to me like something was corrupted when the handset shut off abruptly. Since your charging light still comes on, I seriously doubt that it is bricked.

I, like LBP, will also suggest booting into recovery and wiping your cache and Dalvik cache. That will usually fix most problems. It was likely the improper shutdown that messed it up.
