Root HTC Hero dog slow, running mocado rom

Hello there,

ive installed a custom mocado rom 2.9 core.

software version 1.0.0A6288

Firmware 1.5


Its running really slowly and theres allot of bugs in it.

Any recomendations as to what to do?

Ive tried the 2.7.3.4 rom from htc website but it doesnt work because orange doesnt allow it. -.-

There is a version for Orange Branded Hero's on the HTC website.
