HTC Hero Keypad light?

I am not too sure why this is happened. But none of my keypad buttons light up.

Anyone know about any settings I might have fiddled with?!

a) Which version of the HTC Hero have you got?
answer: GSM move on to b)
answer: CDMA. I'm not quite sure, since I haven't read any symtoms relating to this version yet, I can't help.

b) What Mobile Operator are you on?
