HTC Hero Orange OTA update pack 1. Need Help!

I have an HTC Hero on the Orange, I read on a site that if you haven't received the first update change your date to december.

so I did, i waited a few seconds and decided to turn it off and on again, thinking it would help, as it was shutting down i saw the notice pop up for the update , I turned it bak on and ive seemed to have lost it, it isnt popping up again .

Can anyone please Help!!!!!!

I changed my date to next month , next year. i.e. 08/2011

It took about 30 seconds to then download the update.

Did same for part 2.

Cheers for that, did it last night and within about 20secs the first download popped up, now just waiting for the main update

Try setting date forward a year and 3 months ............
I know it needed different ''times'' to trigger second download. ( part 2 was on a different day )

I'm having the same trouble as ruddi03.

I was abroad when I got the update 1 message so refused the update, thinking I would get another option.

Since then I haven't had an alerts and I have tried the above method of setting the date forward (tried many combinates, 1 month, 3 months, year, year and 1 month year and 3, lots of years....)

Anyone had similar or have any ideas?
