HTC Hero Syn with GroupWise

I am trying to sync my Hero with GroupWise via USB. I only want to sync the calendar, but the software that came with the phone doesn't work. Any ideas? I work for the State of Colorado and can't sync over the internet.

I know a workaround that uses email forwarding. when you add a calendar entry by sending yourself the appt or if someone else sends you an appt
then groupwise sends your gmail the calendar entry. I see you said no sending via internet but this may be a workaround as I work for a California govt entity.

it depends also on your network. On mine, we do not have the latest GroupWise client (v8) and thus doesn't have the ability for syncing directly from Groupwise. Others have success with groupwisesynch.com but I never tried it with the Hero.
