Just wanted to know if anyone has been streaming from their android phones to a projector. I recently picked up a micro usb (male) to hdmi mhl cable (male) (with additional port to connect micro usb power cord). Problem is that the projector does not recognize the phone. No hdmi icon on the phone, so wondering if I need to download an app to push the signal to the projector.
Phone: HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE
Projector: ViewSonic PJD5133
Projector works fine with a standard hdmi cable between my laptop and I currently use that setup to stream movies, youtube, hulu, etc. Would like to have the option to use the phone to do the same.
