HTC Inspire 3G Network outside USA

Hello.

I purchased an HTC Inspire last week on Amazon and paid a shipping to Honduras, where I live. I'm still waiting for it. The phone is unlocked for any gsm network, not rooted. I heard that I won't be able to use 3G connectivity because the inspire's 3G only works on USA. Do you have any idea if this is true? If it's true, is there a way to make it work on any 3G network? Would it work with EDGE connectivity?

It will work on 3G outside the US as long as the network supports 850/1900 3G. I believe most of S. America uses this band. Are you sure it's the htc inspire and not the desire? The desire only supports the 2100 3G band I think.

Yes, it is the Inspire. I guess (and hope) the confusion was with the desire. I will let you know in a few weeks when I get the phone. Thanks for your reply.
