HTC Inspire 4G

If you can find a decent price good luck.

Its just hard to find decent prices on batteries.

Then again I'm use to in store prices on batteries.. online is a bit different.

Although it would suck to spend 200$ on a phone just to need a 35$ battery ontop of the case, car charger and everything else you get with a new phone.

I agree but at least the option for better battery life if needed is there

But you're missing the point.

It shouldn't have to be an option. Why are we getting screwed on battery? If Verizon can provide it standard, why should I have to go out of my way and spend money out of pocket to get something that is standard option on a competitors phone. Not to mention, they get kickstand and FFC (not that I need either, though the kickstand would be nice).

This is just disappointing, makes me quite upset.

Well the reason Verizon's phone got the bigger battery is because Cdma uses more battery so to have comparable performance HTC probably felt they need more juice

I fail to see the "lol" in this. Both the Captivate and Fascinate use 1500 mAh batteries, and they are two basically same Galaxy S phones running on AT&T and VZW respectively.

If Samsung can provide equal batteries, why can't HTC?

I think andrea is just caught up enough in the high of new tech finally coming to at&t that it is just better to not worry until the phone comes out.

For all we know The new snapdrag may be better on batterlife so they saved money going with this battery.

Eh, I guess.

But even if it is, why not give the better battery to both?

I love the fact that we are getting legitimate Android devices, but I feel like we are kind of missing the boat with the Inspire, a phone I've been waiting for for quite some time.

Again, I don't mind not having a forward facing camera, and I can live with no kickstand (though I'd prefer to have it if I had my druthers) but I feel like battery life is such a critical area of big screened phones with a lot of processing power.

Actually no it isn't. Read reviews on the desire HD battery life equals weaknesss

So why no love for this phone? just because the atrix is here this phone is a great phone in its own right!

Well to be honest.. a front facing camera is not a maker or breaker to me but it is part of it.

I wanted an htc desire (original) with at&t 3g bands for the last year almost.

Now that I've given up on that.. htc is going to have to pull some highly impressive feats to really recapture my interest. Especially because, their only at&t phone is the aria which IMHO is really gunna make it hard to predict what their future at&t updates are going to be like.

Unfortunately once I give up.. its usually pretty much "done".

Sure there are no promises for any phone other than nexus..

With samsung, I know... if not for fact than based on seeing phone after phone, that odds are there is gunna be very little samsung support.

However, to be honest, I am not exactly worried about it. Samsung has some pretty solid hardware.

If I don't get a lot of offical updates, boo hoo... I will at least have the consolation of dev support. Which to be honest, may be more than other phones get after a while.

I at least know where I stand and what I am getting.

With that said.. I don't mind the size of the evo... It feels comfortable and almost like a real phone... but, I doubt I'd go any bigger.

I am on the fence. I like the HTC sense and especially 2.0 and when I see the desire HD reviews they actually make me want it more than the atrix. Also I live my nexus if only it had better wifi or at least the att 3G. What to do what to do.

I dunno.

It makes me want to just chunk my phone aside and say "screw it".

I love tech.. but, I prefer obsessing over pc parts.

Phones are nice.. but, they aren't my "passion" so to speak. They are fun I want the best.. but, bleh.

I'm ready for something nice finally.
