Hi All,
I took unlocked phone HTC Inspire 4G from AT&T. I recently updated to Andriod version 2.3.3. I am not able to find Network type selection like GSM/WCDMA etc.. under Mobile network because of this I am not getting 3G speeds even 3G is enabled on my phone.
It is showing 'E' icon on the phone instead of 'H'.
When contacted HTC they are telling that the device built in a way that it selects 2G/3G based on the availability but it is not showing 3G even though it is available.
The device is not yet rooted. Is there any way to get this option without rooting device?
i found the option when i used the code *#*#4636*#*# and then i changed it to wcdma only..but then it again changes to wcdma preferred eventhough 3g network is available in my area.. plz lemme know what to do..
