Help HTC Inspire not recog HTC Sync

I just got the HTC Inspire, coming from Iphone. I have tried to use the HTC Sync, but it does not work. When I plug in the phone in , Sync crashes. Message: Program: Program Files\(x86)\HTC\HTC Sync3.0\htcUPCTLoader.exe
This app has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusaly way.
ANyone have any ideas on this? Thanks.

Being an IT guy what OS are you running on your pc? Is it 32 or 64 bit? (just good to know) If this was happening to me, I would just uninstall the program and reboot the pc. Also check for any files left located under program files to make sure this does not cause an issue when you try to re-install it.

Using Win7 x64. Got a note from HTC tech, they had me uninstall, delete folders, re-install, rename the iTunes Music Library.xml, AND, still getting the error message as soon as the phone connects to HTC Sync. Thanks.
