Help HTC Inspire Won't turn on fully charged.

Quite frankly I am no longer inspired by this phone as I have had a string of problems with not only my Inspire but also with the one I have purchased for my girlfriend. The biggest problem at the moment is that after going to sleep last night and plugging my phone in, I now wake to find that my phone displays a fully charged battery and then blacks out to nothing. After taking it apart and reinserting the batery, I get the same thing. After reading a few forum threads the answer seems to be... replace the phone and or the battery or call (on your broken phone) your local carrier (AT&T) so they can replace my phone... This is the answer? Just come back every time this piece of junk breaks and get another piece of junk that will break? That's quietly brilliant.

I have had this phone for a couple of months now and feel that the problems I have been experiencing are a bit much for the money spent on this product. Losing pictures that just turn into grey icons with an exclamation mark for some random reason, phone just randomly turning off, very poor battery life, battery conservation options that block me from the internet randomly, setting options just changing magically... this thing is possesed by the devil and its all I can do within my powers of patience to not smash this with a 9 iron right now.

Moved to the HTC inspire forums to get better answers. It sounds to me like you may have a bad battery and just need it replaced maybe others here will be able to share any similar experiences and how to solve them.
