HTC is pissed and suing!

Put a bullseye on your chest by collecting and distributing a bunch of ROMs on a single site and you should expect this type of action. Like it or not, the custom features that are being added onto the Android OS by the OEM manufacturers and cell service providers are protected by law.

Just because the OS is open source doesn't mean that everything loaded on the phone is open source.
 
I just find it stupid that htc and all these huge companies are putting all this protected crap on an open source system and don't expect people to mess with it. Half the crap they put on phones is unneeded anyways.
