I recently purchased a Virgin Mobile HTC Legend, unlocked it (mobileincanada.com), and am running it with my Telus SIM card. I have no issues placing voice calls, sending/receiving texts or using Wi-Fi internet. My issue comes when I switch to mobile data. For some reason the Legend does not connect to the Telus data network, despite recognizing itself as being connected to a Telus network of some kind under the 'Mobile network settings' menu.
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to why this is happening and/or how to remedy the situation. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
