I have a htc one m8. Every charger I use, it makes the metal pins sink into the charger, then it doesn't work...any suggestions?

Have you tried the charger that came with the M8? The phone is designed to charge at a faster rate than a normal phone with a normal charger. Perhaps the problem is caused by heat produced by the additional current flowing through the charger that's not designed for the phone.
