I am having a problem with htcdev I keep getting error 141. I have used the account on 2 different phones so I know I have some what of an idea of how to unlock. Do you think I need to create a new account or that has nothing to do with the process. I have everything working but when I put in my token it does not work.

Your account won't mess with the unlock process, something is going awry.

When you enter the commands in the CMD prompt, does it output a long chain of code?

If it does, make sure you're copying exactly what it shows, sometimes it has a space along the left side that shouldn't be included. Check the images on HTCdev and make sure you're entering the text string exactly.

I thought that was kind of wired because i do get the long text with my token in it but when i paste it i am getting the error message. The last thing i was thinking it could be is i am using an IP that is already tethering.. but that can not be it because every time i upgrade one of my phones the other always remind rooted. and that is how i log on to htcdev

what variant do you have? what is the message that goes along with error 141?
