Help HTC MTP Device Driver is NOT installing (failed)

so basically this. i can access my files and everything inside it so its not a big deal. but this stupid annoying message when i plug my HTC with USB to my computer keeps appearing like a mad man...

so how to destroy it for good?

If the message is appearing on your computer screen, it's likely seeing a conflict between the device driver being used and remnants of an older driver.

Sometimes just a reboot of the machine and the device you're connecting with will do the trick. But you may need to search out the old driver and carefully get rid of it, making sure to not mess up the new one. I'd first check in device manager (if you're using Windows).
