Help HTC one M8 freezing and lagging during gaming

I decided to create this thread because I got my m8 a month ago, and now noticing while playing any high end game, it lags, then it freezes, and there is a blue border formed around the screen... I am perplexed because it seems to run ok with everything else, calls, texts, etc... I had the htc one m7, never had this problem, it is a problem because I like to play games on my phone. Simple games like bowling 3d or Farm Heroes, works fine, but games like Jane Wilde, Injustice, it bogs down and freezes... Then I have to hold power button down and reboot... Has anyone suffered from these issues? I did a factory reset too, same problem... Now prolly going to go to t-mobile and show them, called HTC, they told me to run it in safe mode, but that does not helps because it only freezes when playing games, and the same games I have seen people play on this phone, they had no issues...

Isn't that blue border a sign of the zoom feature being activated? Triple tapping the screen activates the zoom feature. Just throwing a dart in the dark.

I did not know about the triple zoom, thank you, however, despite that, it still freezes and lags,called tmobile, theyr'e sending me a replacement tomorrow, thanks for the input though...
