Htc one m8 or wait for hima?

I currently have an iPhone 5 but I've been planning on switching to an android phone. I heard that the htc one m8 is the best on the market ATM, so I decided to get that. However I just read that the htc one m9 or hima is coming out on March 2015. So my question is, should I get the htc one m8 now or wait for the hima? Would it be worth it?
 
I've not heard it called the hima, but March sounds about the right time for a HTC flagship.

How desperate are you to update? There's nothing wrong with the M8, it's a great device (and will still be a great device next year), but we're not far off from the potential release of a newer model so if you can wait, I would.
 
You should wait, with any luck HTC will put a decent camera on future flagship phones.

But that's not the only reason to wait, if you don't want to wait and don't mind the rubbish camera on the M8 then go with that.
 
You should definitely wait, the M9 will hopefully feature an upgraded camera. Sadly that's not difficult, they could put on most cameras from last years flagships and it would be an upgrade.

Heres hoping HTC listen to the negative comments this time and not ignore them.

What's your experience of the M8 camera? There are some pretty decent shots here: http://androidforums.com/threads/htc-m8-camera-discussion-show-off-your-pictures.832012/

Some of those look ok to me.
 
Umm I would get the m9 if you can wait but you will be waiting longer then March. The phone will probaly release at mwc from march 3rd to 5th and they is the release not the launch so it will probaly launch about 3-4 weeks after
 
Looks like they are going to announce just before MWC: Android Authority were reporting that they are sending out invites for March 1st.
