A friend of mine bought a used htc one m8 phone. later we found out that the phone couldn't be updated to android 5.0 lolipop . When contacted the htc customer care they said this specific phone was made for testing purposes and it wont update to a new version. Is there anyway i can update it?
P.s i restored the factory settings and now i couldn't login to my google account. That means no playstore and contacts.
