Root HTC One M8 WILL NOT ROOT!

Hello (again)

This is starting to send me round the twist. Bootloader - unlocked. Custom Recovery - TWRM

Rooted successfully but then the phone went and rebooted itself - just as I was about to run some commands to S-Off...

It booted back up and has now lost its root.

I have now tried 6 times, twice with a different SuperSU.zip for my phone and it just will not root.... what is going on?

Please help...for a simple process, I cant believe it has be so hard!!!! thanks guys.

Well, I used some initiative and got round this. I restored a NANDROID backup and ran the root process again using the other SuperSU File.... seems OK so far and hasn't rebooted.

So, I went ahead and proceeded with S-Off.... when running the SU Shell command - it came up with the "whelp, this sucks...... blah blah blah..."

Not sure if any of you know where I can obtain a file that works on all M8 variants?

Can you give us specifics?

Last I saw, you had a question on which TWRP to use, and you were using some videos to guide you.

You unlocked with HTC dev?

You tried to s-off with firewater?
