Hello.
I have an AT&T Pre Production HTC One mini. I wanted to retrieve some deleted pictures so I was attempting to root the phone. Followed some clear instructions on how to unlock the boot loader. Went to HTC DEV and everything went perfect. until it rebooted. It just stays stuck on the Logo screen. Any options I select in the boot loader just makes the phone reboot over an over. Any options to save the phone? I appreciate any help with this. Thank You.

If you can't get into recovery to do a factory reset (which may not help anyway - that's only useful if it's a data conflict) then the best bet would be to find a ROM Update Utility that's compatible with your phone, put the phone in fastboot mode (if you can't even do that try from hboot), connect the phone to a PC via usb and run the RUU, which is a windows .exe, on the PC. That should completely reflash your phone with a new set of software.

The good news is that the one and only RUU I've been able to find for the One Mini (I assume it's the 2013 model) is an ATT one. Look here: AndroidRUU | The #1 source for Android RUU files - it's the one with "RUU" at the start of the name (it's called "Cingular", but that's an old name for ATT).

The bad news is that it may not run anyway if it thinks your software is too new - it's an "upgrade" utility only.

The worry is that yours is a pre-production unit - it may be unlikely but I could imagine there being some subtle incompatibility. On the other hand, if nothing else works you've not much to lose. If even that won't do it you should probably speak to ATT.

Good luck.

First of all Red Dwarf is the Smeg ! I've been a fan from its beginning and exposed my kids to it who love it. Anyway...
I am downloading the file you suggested.
When I put it to fastboot and connect USB "I am" getting a response from it in the command prompt. So I'm hoping that's good news. I will follow the rest of your advice and will respond again when I see what happens. Thank You for your time and help.
