HTC One saving photos

[Android Question]

I recently switched from my iPhone 4 to the new HTC ONE and it's nothing but a headache. I wanted it for the bigger screen etc. My problem is how can I save pictures to "my gallery or my pics" w/out using Flickr or picasa or any of those? I'm use to being able to hold my finger on the pic I want to save and it would go to my pics. This is driving me crazy. Please tell me thetes away to save my pics to my gallery or a my pic folder. Thanks.

Not quite sure what you mean by My Gallery or My Pics. Are you referring to folders on a PC/Mac?

To copy or move photos to a PC, simply connect the phone to the PC via a USB cable. You can then either use HTC Sync (or whatever it's called these days) to sync your pictures or use Windows Explorer (Windows key + e) to simply drag and drop the pictures from Internal Storage \DCIM\camera to the PC.

If you're using a Mac, I assume you can do something similar however as an IT pro, I of course know absolutely nothing about Macs.
