HTC One vs Galaxy S4

Thanks people. I compared the two phones again today and found I really did prefer the Samsung, mainly due to the amoled screen, it was a lot brighter and more colourful when both set to max using the same pic as a comparison.

I was wondering though, would it be worth rooting the Samsung at all as I've read touchwiz is bloated bit obviously that's just other people's opinions.

I'm not a fan of touchwiz UI myself, I install Nova Launcher on all my devices.

One thing I've noticed in my S3 that wasn't a problem on my one x (evo4g LTE) was that the s3's screen is terrible outside in sunlight.

You can't see anything. Its not usable.

Not sure if Samsung's fixed that for the S4, but something to consider. If one of the store reps has an S4, ask them about it, or see if they'll step outside for you to see
 
Yes I'll try to see if I can do that, I know my phone is a bit like that unless you have the brightness right up. Thanks
