HTC One vs Samsung Galaxy S4

HTC One awesome audio extruded aluminum brighter outdoor screen, fits a bit better In pockets than a 5 inch screen. I think better battery life. Im sick of carrying two extra batteries in my pocket so my phone makes it all day long.

Right now The ONE is my choice ... The S3 just feels cheap in my hands and I know the S4 will also... Just have to wait until I can get my hands on both ...BUT my contract expires in 9 more days (April Fool day of all days) so I may have to wait until both hit the stores before I upgrade...

Everyone in my family run iPhones BUT I just can't go that route...

I'm in more or less the same place as you. My contract's already expired but I need to wait longer than the release date of the S4 as I can get cheaper on the contract on EE through their friends and family service. I'm checking out the HTC ONE this Tuesday then once the S4 comes out I'll check that out too and make some final decisions.

I agree with you on the iPhone point. There really isn't anything special about them.

The battery life is probably very questionable at this stage. The S4 has a 2600 mAh battery whereas the ONE has a smaller 2300 mAh battery. Obviously in size and on paper the S4 wins here. But does the larger screen and 'high end' software mean that the battery life will be more or less equal to that of the ONE. Well only time will tell once the S4 has been released.
