Help HTC ONE X accelerometer problem?

Hi there, i have just received my HTC One x which i bought from smartfonestore. (A-Grade). The phone is a cracking piece of kit however i noticed when i tried to play tweeter, the ball didn't move. I then tried to get the web browser into landscape mode but it too wouldn't recognize that the phone was tilted. I installed androsensor and that showed that the g sensor wasn't being picked up. Is there any fix for this or do i have to send the phone back which i really dont want to do? I've tried the usual factory hard reset and reboot and what not, Thanks

It was an issue on older models and the reason I had to have mine replaced. Some have said booting into safe mode and calibrating the sensor does the trick, but it didn't work forr me.

It's likely to be hardware unfortunately.

I had to get mine replaced due to the same fault, got mine about a month ago, less than one week of having it the auto rotate, gyro stopped working.... Managed to get it back for about 2 weeks without fault but then died again. About 4hrs go I had my replacement delivered to my door at 8pm ish from Orange (UK) which was spot on...... New phone 4 hrs ish later... so far so good! Fingers crossed!

Other than that, I agree great phone!! It calls people too!! Fancy that!
